Bad Text Msg-U740 Reboots When Access INBOX

Have received a bad text or pix message so now when I attempt to access my INBOX my U740 reboots. Unable to use delete function to remove bad message. How can I remove all messages in my INBOX?

when u click the bottom left button, the the mess. screen will appear the go down to inbox on the bottom right u will see options click it and u will see erase inbox and so on so go to erase inbox and delete. i hope this helps.. u can send a mess. if u need anymore help..

Thanks guy but as I mentioned I have tried this several times. Delete the INBOX and delete ALL does not do anything to the messages in the INBOX. The messages remain.
