Free WAP On The Alias. Questions.

Well, I am sure most of youhave heard about the free WAP on the Samsung "Alias". While this all seems very good I am still quite skeptical. I have two very important questions and I apologize if they have already been answered but I already searched the forum and couldnt find anything so anyways here are my questions:
-Is this even legal?
-Will I still be charged airtime fees for using the server?
I will appreciate it if any one can help me out with these questions and if you have never heard about this someone made a tutorial/video about it on youtube just search "free wap on the alias"

AFAIK the only service provider that free WAP works with is Verizon on the America's Choice Plan. Every other service provider that I know of will charge for the data being transmitted up and down. Even the new Nationwide plans from Verizon bill for MB of data now.

Of course this is what i know from DUN usage, but I imagine it is the same for WAP. Both would affect minutes usage + data usage.

Oh ok thanks. I am a verizon user but I have to know what plan I am using. But is it legal though? And thanks for the help by the way.

If you dont know what your plan is, you can look on your Bill Statement and it will be listed on the left side of the second page under the heading "Your Calling Plan".

Is it legal? I'm pretty sure that it is NOT legal seeing as how access to the default WAP connection is locked until you activate that on your plan.

Those people who do use the free WAP hack have disabled the EVDO connection on their phones in order to avoid detection.
