my Samsung t339

ok So i picked up one of these, and im just wondering if there are any additions I can do with it. These cellphones use like symbian or something right? or is that wrong? I am just looking for something possibly in the text message department like to make it stop bugging me and hold more text messages (because we all know it could hold ALOT of them)

Any info would be great
