I have the samsung blast and a couple times i would try to do sumthin on it and it would just go blank white... does anyone else have this problem?

this phone has really good signal though. i was able to get a signal from when i went somewhere in the mountains

if the phone is under warranty, he can take it back to where he bought it and they'll in turn either replace the phone or send it to their shop to get it fixed
BUT if it's not under warranty, he can take it to a repair shop himself, BUT its not guaranteed to be repaired as you claim ! The problem might be bigger than their 'heads' so to speak, cause even if they upgrade the firmware, it's not guaranteed to solve the problem at hand
