I would like to buy a Samsung SGH-B300 phone in France for UK use only. As a novice to mobiles, I would like to ask:
1. Will it work in the UK if purchased in France?
2. Will this phone come 'unlocked' - i.e. all I will have to do is sign up to a UK provider and insert their SIM card? It is advertised as 'phone only'. Presumably at this stage the phone will become 'locked', but that will not be a problem for me.
3. Will a UK phone company accept this situation and supply me with a number and connection to the UK network?
