Samsung PC Studio 3 - Where does it store inbox messages on PC?

hi

I've transferred my phone's inbox messages to pc's inbox successfully and the software shows them to me even if the phone isn't connected.

All I wanna know is, where does it store these messages on PC? what file/directory path to be exact?

Anybody have an answer for imfaizzi's question? I am also trying to get this info so that if I restore my hard drive from a restore image, i can still save my messages in pc studio by backing up that folder. Thanks.

I had the same problem as You managed to recover my messages.

You will find a file called SMS.msg in the folder

C:\Documents and Settings\"yourusername"\Application Data\Samsung PC Studio 3\ <<<Win Xp

C:\Users\"yourusername"\AppData\Roaming\Samung\Samsung PC Studio 3 <<<Vista

Copy this file from your backup to the new location (you may wish to rename the file that is already there to SMS.msg.bak) Hopefully this helps!

I cannot find sms.msg in either one of the directores stated above
C:\Users\"yourusername"\AppData\Roaming\Samung\Samsung PC Studio 3 <<<Vista

I can find my mms but not my sms messages.

I'm using NPS New PC studio version 1.5.1.10064_2

Hi, you are lucky to have managed to transfer your sms messages to your pc at all. I have just downloaded New Samsung Pc Studio and it won't even read my sms messages from my Samsung GT-S5230 phone, just spent all evening trying! Have managed to transfer my videos from my phone to the pc but not the sms messages. Can anyone out there help me?

I too had a problem saving my sms in the PC. somehow i managed to do it . But now the msg are showing stored in .nef format. now i dont know whats this format al about.
