News: Samsung App Store launching September 14

Available in UK, France, Italy and 30 other countries, Samsung will launch its App Store on September 14.

As of right now, the only devices that will be able to use the App Store are the Omnia and Omnia HD (I8910 HD). For the Omnia users, you will have to download an application. And the Omnia HD users will have to upgrade their software by selecting the Application Download icon.

Samsung App Store plans on having around 300 applications to download and by the end of this year it's expected to increase to 2000 apps. The app store will work over cellular or Wi-Fi networks and supports credit card and phone billing.
