As most of you know, Samsung does currently have phones based on its own OS, but they may be changing according to Dong-hoon Chan, head of mobile devices design group at Samsung.

We are looking to see the first Linux based OS sometime in 2010, hopefully the early part of it and it looks as if the TouchWiz UI will be included.

It's been speculated that the two phones that may see the Samsung OS is the Protector (I8320) and the I6410.
