Bought used Samsung Highlight, how to reset password?

I've bought my Samsung Highlight used and don't know the old password. I also don't have the old SIM card but will be inserting a new SIM card. Do I even need the old password? If so, how do I go about resetting it when I know nothing about the phone or the previous owner?

Ha!! I figured it out and thought I'd share. **WARNING--THIS WILL CLEAR EVERYTHING OFF OF YOUR PHONE** Open up your dialer and key in *2767*3855# A box will then pop up and tell you that your phone is resetting and will power down. It really worked!! Yay me!!
