News: Samsung Google Nexus S 4G will receive update for data speeds on July 25

According to Sprint, they have officially announced that the Samsung Google Nexus S 4G will receive an update that will boost the data speeds. Not only will the update increase or boost data speeds, but is rumored that it will upgrade your Samsung Google Nexus S 4G to Gingerbread 2.3.5.

Other improvements that the update will bring are: signal strength, Wi-Fi connectivity, speakerphone audio quality and TTY support for those who are deaf and hard of hearing.

Your Samsung Google Nexus S 4G handset will notify you of the update as this update takes place OTA and should happen on July 25th, which is Monday. As with any OTA update, this update will happen in stages so it may take a week or two before everyone with the device receives the update.
