Hi, I've noticed that I have Bluetooth ON the battery drains VERY quickly (last about 1/5 of the time that Bluetooth is NOT on), is this the nature of Bluetooth and/or anything that I can do to extend the battery?
Thanks, Bob

Samsung Flight II: Bluetooth
Hi John, I bought a couple of handset that can be paired with cellphones via Bluetooth and besides draining the Samsung battery, Bluetooth seemed to over ride EVERYTHING and I was unable to use the Samsung Flight 11 so I returned the handsets and disabled Bluetooth but am curious if Bluetooth
drains the battery or my situation is an anomaly?
Thanks,
Bob

Re: Samsung Flight II: Bluetooth drains battery
Normally with bluetooth just on and not in discovery mode, it shouldn't use up as much battery as you describe. When you turn on bluetooth does it immediately start searching for devices and not stop searching?

Re: Samsung Flight II: Bluetooth drains battery
I don't know but I would guess that it does.
When I walk out of (Bluetooth) range, I hear a "beep" (Bluetooth is disconnected) and when I walk back into range, I hear a beep (Bluetooth connected) so I would guess that it's always looking to connect or disconnect
