SGH-c414 Downloading Games

Hello everyone,

I am new here and this is my first post . My question concerns the downloading of games into my cell phone. My service provider is Telus , that's another question that I have , why Telus isn't listed under service providers in this forum ? My phone is the SGH-C414 .

Now concerning games , this phone came with no preloaded games,which is odd because even my old phone (Nokia ) had preloaded games . I was browsing through games available to purchase and every game so far stated that data charges may apply. Is the data charges referring to downloading the game or charges when I play the game ? I couldn't get a straight answer even from my service provider on this . Do any games exist that have no data charges when I play the game ? I don't mind paying data charges to download the game but I do not want to pay data charges whenever I play the game .

I guess it depends on the game. Downloading the game will definitely give you some data transfer. If the game has to report back to a server to be played, like a multi-player social game or a game that saves your score to a leader board, then that will also use data.
