Brightside music player numbered playlist

Does anyone know how to add music to a Brightside from iTunes without getting the song number?
In iTunes, when a playlist is compiled, the songs are numbered. When the songs are selected to
transfer to the phone, Brightside includes the song number. So when viewing the songs alphapetically
on the Brightside, all the number 1 songs are listed first. Then the number 2 songs and so on.
It makes soring difficult.

Unfortunately this sounds like a shortcoming of the music player software on the phone. There's not much that can be done since the phone doesn't run windows or android.
