According to the news on March 31,Apple ordered a room by alias in this session of GDC and invited some game developers in order to ensure that they could get more support of the iOS game when the game handle that they are making released.
The PocketGamer reported that ,many developers know that Apple are making the peripherals, yet they do not the specific time of the product launching, and they expected that it would come in the annual conference in April. From the news ,we know that they did not see the the equipment ,so they did not know that how Apple would design.
This news has not surprised us, because Apple registered a gamepad patent in 2008, and similar to the Wii Remote. Of course, there is no linke with the equipment that they are making.
The third party has launched for iPhone and iPad handle, most of the game does not support an official handle. An official handle will prompt developers to integrate the platform to build a much larger gaming community.
