Hi, my phone droped and screen got broken... after i replaced screen with new one from ebay, my touch screen is not accurate no more.
Upper part of screen seems to be fine and accurate, but bottom of screen is just bad.
example, i want to tap on applications icon on very bottom right corner, nothing happens, if i tap one icon position higher i will actually tap on application icon... if you get me.
on top of screen accuracy is fine. the lower the worse.

    please help!

Did you replace the glass or the LCD? There is something called a digitizer. Did you replace that?

Try going to Settings > Motion > Sensitivity settings > Gyroscope or Settings > Display > G Sensor Calibration, depending on your version of Android.

Have you tried contacting the person you purchased the LCD from? Is it possible that it is defetive? Could it be installed wrong? You could try to disconnect it and then connect it again to make sure it is installed properly.

I hope you get it working.

yup, there is problem either in screen or digitizer (i dont know what digitizer is, does, or what it looks like :P ), so i connected the screen (lcd) to my galaxy s2 and there is the same problem...
i have cleaned the lcd connector, and there is no way it can be connected wrong i believe, connector is really precise...
thanks for reply guys! hope there is solution beside sending the screen back because its nearly impossible to me to remove it without doing any damage...
the screen is held tight with double sided glue tape or whatever is it called... and its really strong...

Is there a local repair place that you can take it to? Maybe they can take a look and tell you what is wrong. If it is defective I guess the only thing you can do is purchase a new one. If the new one has the same problem then it looks like either it was installed incorrectly or there is something else wrong.
