    I'm new to this forum.

I work from home, and I'm a mobile phone fan.

I've always liked Motorola phones, and I used to own the mid 2000s decade popular Moto Q, and I could stream TV on it and it had a nice camera built into it (but hey don't they all?).

I've downgraded to a basic Samsung that has a browser (data plan from Verizon) and I get news and Facebook on it which is nice for my bistro business, etc.

I'm in the market now for a Samsung Galaxy, and I'm impressed with the S5 OS, but I have to ask --- what are the general public reviews of the Samsung OS compared to those nifty Windows Mobile phones made by Nokia, LG, and Moto about 10 years back?

I ask, because I really think Samsung is making the best mobile phones today (and the best LCD TVs, LED TVs, and BD players too in my opinion --- hehe, the new Sony) and am curious about views on Windows Mobile arenas related to Samsung compared to recent popularity of the iPhone OS, etc.

    Re: Galaxy OS: Survey Questions

The "Samsung OS" is Android with samsung's own software tweaks on top. Almost everyone has their own tweaks, and generally they all are excellent, except for some of the smaller brands. The differences between Android, iOS, and Windows are all preferences. They can do basically all the same things, it's just the way everything is laid out. iOS and Android are definitely more mature and have a wider variety of 3rd party applications available. Windows is catching up. iOS tends to be more user friendly.

I would recommend you go to your nearest store and take a look at all three. Unless there's a specific feature that one offers that you want, any of them will be suitable for your needs.
