Sorry, but this phone was only designed as a prototype for the movie and will not even enter the world market.

This is NOT true. They ARE making a limited run of these. I am not sure of which carriers it can be used for other than Sprint in the US though. You can get them on eBay for about $500-$800.

This is a CDMA phone used for the Sprint PCS network for United State. There are no CDMA network in Europe.

this phone will only be sold in the united states, and unlike in the film it has a 65k color display.
I live in europe and i want one too but there is just no way you can

Nope. Some people in Europe may have them as collectors items or to sell to people in the US, but they cannot be activated in Europe.

lol they just seem so... well... plastic and toyish... ill stick with a professional looking phone any day

I mean, the one that says....they do manufacture them, but in limited numbers. Only to be auctioned. Either its online or via sms. It wont be in the superstore or any hp shops.
Here in Singapore, they already have the stocks auctioned last week, on the papers (auction via sms). Only few hundred copies.
Method: Over here, they auction for 1 piece, and the value for that one will be applied onto the rest of them.

i work at a certain major retail electronic store that pre ordered alot of these phones for alot of people only to there dissapointment that we never got it and had to refund alot of money
