ive been hearing how um the lg vx6000 phones are able to have like voice ringtones by simply just having a mp3 file then just renaming the file to a midi file n then just upload it.. i was wondering are u able to do that with the samsung s105 phone since it could play dead ringers..

No, it's actually a long process. You have to get an mp3, cut it down to about 8 seconds, then convert it to 8000 16 bit mono wav, THEN convert to .mmf.

i'm curious, what software would you suggest using to convert wav to mmf, ellecsor? i have found several programs, free and shareware that convert wavs to midi but do a horrible job of it. i'm familiar with psm player to convert midis to mmfs but that's not the hard part.
