What phone are you using? Make sure that it does in fact support polyphonic tones. I have had cases in which I had a phone that supported polyphonic tones preloaded onto the phone, but could only download old nokia keypress tones from the web. I no longer have that one.

    ***ATTENTION*** ALL SPRINT USERS!!!

OK LISTEN UP EVERYONE! I have a solution for a majority of Sprint Users, and this is very important. You no longer need any type of USB cable in any way, shape, or form, all you need is one website on the internet. I've been doing a lot of research and it had paid off tremendously. What you do is:

    1. Find a MIDI that you want ex. (Rock Song.mid)

    2. Go to "http://www.t1mmy.net"

    3. Under this website, you click on the large icon and enter his site, then just skip the flash intro.....

    4. Once you're on his main site, click the bottom Cell Phone Icon, which is labeled "Vision Tool" ...

    5. The vision tool allows you to upload any midi, or jpeg file to your phone instantly

    6. click the website that says vision tool and then choose the midi of your choice from your own personal computer and it sends a link straight to your phone within seconds, from there all you do is read the text message and open the website link that is displayed.

    7. It will appear on your screen that the file might not be safe, and is not sprint supported, but it's just a midi file so hit "Proceed" on your phone

    8. The file will automatically start to download and will be saved on your phone's memory

    There you go!!!

I have the VM4500, and i have downloaded so many ringers for free, without using any type of cable, or Sprint's ridiculous prices on their site. Enjoy!!
