no, vision allows you free web access and $5 worth of the sprint downloads.
You can get applications and or/ games from a lot of different places like ebay or websites that you can download from sometimes...
To run the games and app.s is free UNLESS its somthing like the ESPN ticker wich requires web access to use. I dont know anything else specific about the ticker, but I DO know you CAN use the web without vision subscription, it just costs you. They charge you by how many bytes you use or somthing.

For instance , Cingular gives you Unlimited internet access for $24.99 per month and Vision is Unlimited for only $15 per month and can include either a $5 or $10 credit monthly toward downloading ringers, wallpaper, games, etc. So it is quite a good value when you compare.

vision is def. worth the money IMO. The ability to check movie times / read emails / find telephone numbers / etc.. pays for itself. Think about it this way - if you call 411, it cost you 1.25 or 1.50 - per call. if you use vision say 10 times a month just to find a telephone number it pays for itself.
