I have a data cable for my 8300 that works fine. Purchased from mobile action (Mobileaction Home Page - MobileAction) The software is a little clumsy but allows me transfer data to and from my phone. If you are trying the use the phone as a modem, my understanding is, Sanyo has disabled that feature on this model. If you find a way to make it work let me know.
