Hey guys, i have a few questions about this phone id like answeared before I buy it.
Iv noticed theres no receptor for the mouthpiece. Why is that? does the ear piece dbl as both? wouldnt that affect quality, or are all phones like this.
And also, the interchangable plates, how securely do those stay on, I mean I dont want to keep buying replacment plates just because they keep falling off.

i think the receptor is on the bottom of the phone, atleast thats what it looks like when i look at my 8300 and my faceplates havent fallen of yet and ive had the phone about 2 weeks now (if that means anything...)

I love my 8300. The faceplates stay on perfectly. As for the phone - camera, video, 176x220 screen, excellent speakerphone, GPS, TV, AAC support - definetly a great value.

the faceplate isn't gonna come off period. i've dropped my phone so much it's pretty scratched, but it hasn't come off yet. and the microphone is a small oval hole right next to the usb(not really usb... but i forgot the name)/charging port. overall its a great phone, and i can say from experience tough as nails
