Hey all, I have a few questions maybe someone can help me with. I just got signed up with Sprint and got the LG pm225 for signing the contract. I also own a sanyo pm8200 and I really loved that phone, I was wondering if anyone could tell me which was a better phone ( better signal strength, options, battery life etc..) because I am not real thrilled about the LG model. I think the only things i like about it is the red cover and the size of it. The camera pretty much sucks from the little i have used it( i know its a cell phone first but the Sanyo takes some pretty good pictures compared to the LG).
I also wanted to know if the sanyo can view animated gifs, I have tried a number of times to download them to my phone but I seem to get different error messages and sometimes I am told a plugin is needd with the option to go download it but when i click the link I am sent to vision homepage and there is no link that I can see. I have no idea what the plug in is called or i would just google it myself.
One more thing, My girlfriend and I signed up for a plan together and I have tried to send pictures to her phone from mine and I keep getting error code " c 1" please try again later. Any ideas?

Hi hooligan, ive owned both phones, plus the 8300, and currently the sanyo 9000 and i can tell you a bit about both.. honestly, the sanyo pm 8200 is WAY better!!! I returned the lg225 within 1 week, i hated it, it wasnt the phone for me, its not as customizable as the 8200, not to mention, i loved my little polar bear on the 82!! i still miss hiM! =*( heheh... anyways, yeah.. the lg225 had a horrible camera as well, the 8200 completely blows it out of the water!! also, sanyo can NOT view animated gif's. ive spent MONTHS trying and trying and trying to get it to work, despite the fact i knew it couldnt. there is in fact an option under settings that says something along the lines of "view animated standby" or something like that. you might need to download some sort of program in order to get that option to work, if so, ive never heard of it or come across one but you can go to SprintUsers.com. That site is filled with information on sprint/phones/service and more, they can tell you better than I. the reason you might be getting an error code is, either she doesnt have picture pack OR one of the phones ( must be hers cause BOTH of yours INFACT support picture sending ) arent capable of sending photos. Call sprint and theyd be able to tell you a bit better than i. If you want, u can PM me and i can walk u through the process cause ive got all my phones still and my mothers got the lg225 still, so i can help u out a bit... =)
but to answer ur question in one word, SANYO!!!

Hey Renée, thanks for the info, I decided to go with the Sanyo and have been totally stoked on it. The only issue seems to be a girlfriend that is pissed that my phone is better then hers.

lol well, im glad to know you like the Sanyo!! How long have u had it for now?? I got a bunch of tricks i can teach you about the 8200.. I dont know if u know about the Flashlight feature but if you hold the phone facing you and hold down the button on the right top, your flash, becomes a flash light!! ( i might have the wrong button, its one of them )

let me know if you have any questions!
