The Katana has a basic VGA camera, QVGA display and bluetooth and comes in black, blue and pink. It’s going to be released summer-ish, at $100 after rebates. The rebates coming from the act of signing your soul over to Sprint for a year or two. Katana! – Jason Chen

I just found out that it sanyo katana is launching on 17th and will be available for 79.99 with a 2 yrs service agreement.

Ive been in a few different stores and was actually offered the katana. I got my new phone last night, sanyo mm7500, and they were all out and couldnt find any stores that had one. The guy said they have the katana's in back and are not for sale, if i wanted i could have picked one up. But i just do not like the look of those types of phones. I never liked the razr and looked at the blade a lot this past week, just not my style i guess. But the katana looks a lot better the the blade, better color scheme

You can order one now on sprint.com with a new service agreement, or add it to your existing plan. I'm guessing they won't be on sale in stores until the 17th, but I was looking at it yesterday to see what kind of rebate they would offer, and yes it was offered to me for $79.99 after $200 in rebates.

yeah, you are right. $150 instand and $50 mail in rebates. Wonder how the phone is.

I got the Katana today, but the ringers are weak. Doesn't seem to support m4a, anyone have any suggestions????
