usb drivers for sanyo phones

I have 2 sanyo phones, mm-8300 & scp 2400. I have currently upgraded the 8300 to an LG Musiq, (not sure if I want to keep the LG or get the Katanna). I have been trying to get the 8300 hooked up to use as a modem, (unsuccessfully) but I could not get it to work since I didn't have the right drivers. I have tried to find the correct driver on the net, no luck. I was told that the same driver would work both the sanyo phones. Any advice out here, can't get the info off the 8300 w/bitpim without the driver apparently.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I am using Windows Vista..........I really wish that these companies wouldn't make it so hard for the average bear.......

I did not know that you could use some cell phones as a modem for your computer, How do you do this and with what? This is a new one on me.

I'm going to try to talk with the snapmedia people today. I am using their drivers for the phone but their site doesn't say anything about having a 64 bit version so I'll try to talk with them.

i installed opera mini on my sanyo incognito spc6760. i found it on myxer.com. i have boost & that was the only download i could get from any of the sites i tried without paying or going through boost. good luck
