Katana Eclipse X

i have a question about the illumination feature, and it may be stupid...

but as i understand it, when the phone is on silence and the illumination feature is on, its supposed light up, right?

i set the colors i wanted for calls, texts etc but it didnt light up when i had it on silence & i got a text

any help?

i was messing around with my phone, and the illumination doesnt work at all...silence on or off...going to sprint store to see whats up
