Sanyo Incognito animated wallpaper?

I'd love to set the wallpaper as an animated gif.
I know that the screen resolution is 320x240.
I created an animated gif using my favorite jpg images and putting them into "Blaze gif animator" (which does neat slide show transitions).

When I browse the files on the phone, I can view the animated gif, and it looks great.
But, I cannot "assign" the gif as a wallpaper.

Does anyone know how to assign an animated gif as the wallpaper?
(or any other animated file format)?

i found a nice animated .GIF downloaded and can view it, however the phone doesn't allow me the option of assigning in the dialogue drop down box? any suggestions
