This website Phonexpo - Mobile Phone Unlocking, Repairs & Accessories - Dublin - Ph: 4610444 is a well know scammer site worldwide.

This company have also taking me to the cleaners before, i had a phone unlocked by them about a year ago and when i got home all excited i put in my new sim chip and it did not work i tried callingt them but i got no answer over 2 days i called about 7 times. i eventually took the phone to an vodafone store in the city and they told me the serial number was changed on the phone whihc is illegal.

the warranty was also void as then phone had been opened up and parts had been changed with non original one, this is what i have been told. i felt like going out to them with the police but i just cut my loses and ran, phonexpo.ie should be shut down and they seem to be getting away with this all the time.

simply opening up a phone will void it's warranty, whether parts are replaced or not Only way the warranty might not be looked on as voided is IF the phone was taken back to the place it was bought from and their technical staff opened the phone and did whatever with it. Also noteworthy is that warranty periods are usually 12 months, but I've seen places give only 6 months

By the way, how did they store Vodafone store go about determining a serial number is changed maybe they meant the circuit board was changed, and if so, the IMEI number on the phone back wouldnt match the IMEI # embedded in the circuit boards chipset(s)

Be very careful when purchasing codes for phones online. I offer than service too, but even so, I've never ripped off anyone. Are you certain its not something that is wrong with the circuit board itself and not necessarily the code that was bought. That can also be a possibility !!!

So we should use gsm solutions who you seem to heavily defend in other posts.
