I almost lost my job the other day: I was in a meeting with my boss' boss - and some other Kahuna on conf call- with my CF62 set to "Quite" mode and a very discrete default ring-tone selected - or so I though. All of a sudden a load cow sound ("MUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHH") . It's my phone!!!
My boss and his boss ->

and
Me ->
After the meeting I tried to figure out what the hell happened. I didn't remember downloading any cow sound and after going through the menus of my CF62 I could find any trace of it.
Long story short, after a good hour of experimenting - I swear I thought I had hallucinated at some point - I figured out the whole thing (I think).
In my address book (phone) my wife's number is set to "Family" group.
In the settings for "quite" mode there is no ring tone associated with "Family" callers group.
When my wife calls, there goes the cow. (Go ahead. Make fun of her...)
Is it something unique to my CF62 or simply some idiotic thing Siemens engineers thought of?
So if you own a CF62T (or CF62) and have 5 minutes to spare could you try the following?
1. Set your phone to "Quite Mode"
2. In the Quite mode Profile settings, uncheck all caller group ring-tone boxes. Store one number in your address book (phone, not
SIM) and set its caller group to "Family". From that phone number call your CF62 and see if you get the cow as I do.
If then you have more than 5 mins to spare you might want to try to set the caller group to other groups and you'll find out that your CF62 has a bunch of hidden ring-tones (e.g. VIP has a yelling man sound).
Sorry for the long message but I though I had to share this!
