unlocked s66-why doesn't IM work??

I have a Cingular branded unlocked s66 and I have tmobile. When I try to start AIM, I get a failure becasue of GPRS error?? Anyone familair with this?

I am sorry that this isn't an answer to your question, but how did you unlock your s66? I was about to buy one but I wanted to be sure that I can unlock it. Thanks!
