Siemens CF62t won't display anything

I read the manual. It says you have to plug it in for 2 hours before the battery even starts to charge. (I got a replacement phone a while ago, but they wouldn't replace the battery, even though that was most likely the problem with my phone). I've had the phone and battery in a cool dry place for a long time, so it's probably fully discharged, so I plugged in the phone and it's been about 6 hours off and on, and a few times I've waited 2 hours in a row. Nothing ever displays on either screen. I can't turn on the phone. No lights appear. I've tried different power outlets.

It worked a few months ago when I feared I broke my other phone for good (check my other thread). Now it doesn't?

There is no voltage coming from the battery. I might just buy a replacement from Amazon if charging it overnight doesn't work.

This is a bad time for me not to have a phone, too.

Hey why shoud you buy replacement battery when it is a manufacture defect. Go to siemens centre and not the place you bought the phone.Bring the waranty card of your phone. Don't leave until your phone is working perfectly. Once my computer phone did not switch suddenly within 1 year from the day I bought it. I went to siemens customer centre. They said it was a fuse problem and took few days to fix it. After that, they upgraded my camera into higher megapixel for free because I could'nt use my phone for few days and trouble I took for travelling. PROTECT COSTUMERS RIGHTS!!!!!!
