Jon Maron, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Alcatel OneTouch has made an inspiring statetment about the new model Alcatel Fierce XL.

"A smartphone has to be more than a respectable list of specs, it has to deliver an engaging and value-focused consumer experience, and this is where Fierce XL delivers,"

This is a great statement, that show how the smartphone morket got lost, and now it delivers smartphones with better specs, but without a true purpose.

All devices no matter if its Samsung, Sony or Huawei, tend to be identical, just with a different cover.

This time Alcatel is giving us a smartphone which focuses on taking pictures.

It has an 8MP main camera plus a 2MP selfie camera, which are equiepped with Polaroid Photo Editing Software. The Polaroid camera mode will enable a variety of filters and borders, including the iconic Polaroid border. Single, double and multi-shots can be assembled in custom layouts with time, location and note added.

Great news for all people who are not interested in buying the newest model, if they won't be using half of its own functions and abilities.

Other features include: a 5.5" IPS screen with 720p resolution (267ppi) and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 210 chipset (quad-core Cortex-A7 @ 1.1GHz) with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.

Nothing too fancy, but for a cost of $139 it is still a great deal.

Fierce XL should be available on November 2 from Metro PCS, and after the winter in T-Mobile as well.
