is there any connection wit this site and middybuddy.net as far as being a member here? does it carry over to that site or do u have to become a member there too?

If you post/spend there your cash there changes... but it doesn't affect your cash here (and of course the same applies the other direction). MB and CPF cash should not be transferrable as that initial amount was duplicated when CPF split from MB.

Yep,... as vin has said, its managed by the same guy,... but if i'm not wrong,... newer users would have to sign up again here even if u have already an account over at MB.
