Hi if you have a low signal on your SE T610,T68 and some others, then all you need to do is
Remove screws and take phone apart
On the inside of the back housing you will find a piece of metal (rf shield) take this out
In side the back housing place 2 bits of thin foam ( 1 bit left & right)
Put phone back together and you should have full signal...pretty much all the time
Let me know if this helps anyone
Michael

Before you do this, you need to realize that if you mess up your phone (which is very possible since Sony Ericsson made a proprietary tool to properly remove the antenna cover, they will not even allow carriers certification for these repairs) they WILL NOT repair it. Your phone will be sent back to you as unrepairable for unauthorized attempted repair!
Generally poor reception has to do with your carrier itself (or your geographical area)... not your phone.
The T616 is a Class 5 phone, it is meant to be used in metropolitan areas.

Yeah, it is best to complain to your service provider, they gave me free minutes.
I have the T300 and I added an Internal Antenna sticker thing and went from not being able to talk where i live to barely being able to talk. So for the price of $1, it is worth it...
