Banner on z500a

i feel really stupid asking this question on here, but for the life of me, i can't figure it out. is there ANY way to get rid of (or change the text in) the banner. im sick of having "Cingular" right there in the middle of my screen.

apparently it wasnt a stupid question cuz no one knows the answer....

i dont think so, i think its just telling you the wireless service you are connected to. mine has changed when ive left cingular service and entered someone elses, but for the most part, if you arent roaming, i think it stays cingular.
