Little help, trying to get a phone sound file onto a PC.

I've been trying to send a voice recording to my PC, but it just won't work. I keep getting error messages everytime I try to copy and paste it from the phone to the PC. Could anyone give me some assistance on the matter?

I have a Sony Ericsson D750i btw

well, to me it's like sending a picture to the pc. Just select the recording file, then more, then send it via infrared to my pc. And that's it. Thought mine is a K300. But the OS should not change too much between SE models.
