Check the following link for two drivers for Prolific or OTI: http://www.datacablehelp.com/samsung/v200/ |
Thanks for link
I am using a junk cable, I didn't know at the time that they were different from the ones sold by SE.. I just figured they were the same, just not with the "Sony namebrand markup"
Here is the problem I am having now
The computer can read the USB port with the Prolific drivers... I reboot, it finds the z500a with the downloaded stuff I got frome SE.. I install the filemanager and what not, I open the filemanage, and it sees the phone.. I can open the phones memory.. and I can then see the file folders... BUT: when I try and clicking on one of the folders, I get an error message saying: "An unexpected error has occured" and then shuts it down.. I then cannot see the phone again until reboot... and the same thing happens again..
I figure its probalbly just the wrong drivers for the cable. but I have no idea now to get the right drivers.
