Thinkin' of joinin' the dark side..

I currently own a Black Razr v3, but I'm thinking of trading it in for a s710a, but the dealer asked me to come back in a couple of weeks because he didn't have the supplies to unlock the s710a. My RAZR is in great condition, and have all the OEM accesories, if I wanted to trade it in, how much do you guys think I would owe the dealer? My dealer said the phone is $420, is that the correct price, or is he trying to 'hustle' me? Thanks in advance.

You can get it from sonyericsson.com for $199 after rebates. Of course it wouldn't be unlocked, but you could get that done for less than $240. So, I'd say he's trying to hustle you.

Update; went to another store, which did not carry the s710, but did carry the s700, had it for 450, which I think is a total ripoff, right?
Since the s710 is Cingular branded, I haven't been able to get one that is unlocked, because the 'device' to unlock s710's is expensive right now. Isn't there an online thing, to get it unlocked? I was thinkin' of getting it, than having it unlocked with some sort of a code, would that work? One last question, does anyone know the average price range for an unlocked s710 at the moment? Thanks for all the help.
