Does the screen on the S710a scratch easily? How long does the battery actually last?

Also how do you all like the S710a's? Please list the likes and dislikes

New s710a and not quite happy

I bought myself the s710a (on Cingular) after researching a number of phones. Seemed like the perfect phone.

I am having alot of trouble with clear reception in the same places where my old Motorola v400 worked great. Alot of dropped calls, static etc. It also downloads from the web verrrry slowly compared to my daughter's Razr. And I'm having some trouble getting used to the swivel opening. SE claims that reception is better with the phone opened (which I have noticed) but even better is not great.

I'm in the market for a new phone even tho my SE is only 2 months old.

The screen is beautiful tho and mp3s are nice and clear sounding.

I think i am going to wait and get either a new Sony Walkman phone(only if there is one that works with 850mhz) or the new Razr 2.

Where are you located? Where do you have the most problems with dropped calls and poor reception?

I'm in Houston TX. I know that it is the phone not the area as my daughter's Motorola v551 on same carrier works just fine. I've lost calls and then made the call again immediately with her phone.

Possibly I just got a bad phone as all the reviews Ive read say the s710 has very good reception.

Somehow one of my clients got his hands on a Walkman phone while overseas and loves it.
