all over this forum and others i have been reading that the only thing that will work with the s710a is memory stick duo, and the largest capacity duo they make is 128mb.
Now, i hear that supposedly you can use a memory stick pro duo with the phone, all you have to do is format it using the memory stick formatter program that comes with the phone. this would be nice since pro duos go up to 512mb and 1gb
Can anyone verify that this is possible? i would very much like to be able to go to a 512 rather than 128.
If i find out anything else i will post it here as well.

nope, 128 is it, if they get a firmware that allows it then 2 gig would be sweet but so far nothing

Did you ever get anything to work on this subject?

nope, i have been messing with a 256mb pro duo stick but havent found a way to get it to work. i just went and bought a 128 that i knew would work, and its definately much better than the 32 that came with the phone.

when it comes where will it be?
once someone does end up fixing the firmware on the s710 to allow it to use a memory card larger than a 128, what is the most likely website site to look on for the firmware update?
and why has no one done it yet? i dont understand why not... is it that tough?
