Sim card removal z500a

Hi, I'm obviously new, can anyone tell me how to get the sim card out of my z500a phone, I don't want to force it, it feels like it's locked in. I need to put it in a new phone.

Theres a little U like area where you can push it out. I like to use a little pin or something flat and thin to just nudge it out a little bit then I pull it out the rest of the way. The z500a has the worst simcard holder of all the phones I've had in the past. The previous sonys I've had have had a little thing you could push to the side and pull out the sim card. For this phone you need to slide it out of the stationary holder.

Thanks, I was trying to remove the metal holder over the sim card. This obviously didn't work. I finally got it out but the phone I bought wouldn't work in my area and I had to return it...thanks..
