Bluetooth music?

How do I set up my sony w600i to play music via the bluetooth headset? Also has anyone else had any problems with the memory resetting itself and causing text messages to repopulate after being deleted?

Your phone w600i does not support the use of stereo bluetooth.
Not all Bluetooth devices support all profiles.
Optional profiles support connecting to stereo headphones (A2DP, AVRC).

That was the impression I was under, since my device lacks A2DP functionality, however my coworker swears that her friend is able to listen to streaming music as well as mp3s over a Motorola H700. I asked the question because I had no idea whether or not the device was capable of having a software patch installed to allow for it to play music over Bluetooth.

Looks like your coworker was just trying to impress you or give you some false information. Like you and camstuf both stated, the W600i does not support A2DP. And when you you 1st posted your question, I couldn't resist the urge to try it out myself one more time...tried it out on my Jabra, Plantronics, and Scala, and the Walkman just goes straight into speakerphone.

I was on the verge of buying the stereo plantronics until I discovered my phone couldnt use them
