SONY ericsson w580i, w610i release dates

Does anyone know when the sony ericsson w610i and w580i are going to be release in Canada? And who's gonna be providing them. I would greatly appreciate a response.

Also, anyone have any info on the k850i and s500i.

The only people who know that for sure are the main people for Rogers/Fido. Everything else can just be rumors.

It's highly unlikely that the W610i will be picked up by any carrier. The W580i probably has a higher chance of being carried because it it something new for SE, and sliders are in ATM.

The same goes for the K850i, S500i, and other new phones as well. You'd just have to wait and see.

and ya, i've heard that a few times now about the w610i. do you have any idea why it won't be offered by any carrier?

WEll, the W610i is basically like a refresher of the W810i, which was already offered. It's just like repackaging the W810i and selling. Besides, it has already come down in price with some online vendors, so yuo can get one at a reasonable price.

The W580 is going to be released by Rogers and Fido I believe at a starting price for $160. W610 is already being sold in the Sony Stores, at least in Vancouver.
