    hey everyone
    i have a sony ericsson w42s phone i need some help with. i need a phone to use. i was wondering if it would work if i have t-mobie. and there is an auto lock thing on it that i cant seem to get rid of. is there any way to over ride this with a code or anything. i dont have any accessories for it either. please help. thanks

    You can't use the W42S on T-Mobile in the first place. The W42S supports CDMA, T-Mobile uses GSM. Both digital wireless technologies that are not compatible.

    Are you talking about the auto key lock? It might be stated somwhere in the settings, or in the manual. IDK, I'm not familiar witrh the W42S. However, user interface should be the same as with any other SE phone.

    If you're looking for a GSM phone to work on T-Mobile that's almost comparable to the W42S, you might want to consider the following:

    W850i
    W830i
    W580i
    S500i
    W910i
