S500i or W580i?

right now im torn between two phones: the Sony Ericsson S500i or W580i.
you're opinions would be greatly appreciated.

They are basically the same phone. It's just that the the W580i has the Walkman application and the "Shake" feature where you can skip tracks by shaking it.

I would suggest the 810i personally.

I am a small time cell phone Vendor, I vend locally.
I switch phones all the time and I have used pretty much every phone and I've decided to stay with the 810.
The features are much better than the S500.
What I really enjoy is the flashlight, and the 2.0 megapixel camea.
The S500 is also 2.0 but isnt as clear for some reason.

I think you should go for the s500 cuz it's very neat and the design is very genuin. But it is'nt the best phone though. But the w580 feels kinda cheap and i know you'll get annoyed with it.

I have the W580i right now it's great with the walkman feature which the s500 doesn't have. It also has a pedometer, but eats up your battery though. I think that's like the major difference between the two.

Did you make up your mind yet?

i definitely think the W580i is way cooler. i have heard some really great things about it.

I would definitely say that W580i is a better mobile. Most of the features of W850i is better than that of s500i

You shiould try with w580i.If you not purchase the any mobile you should try this other wise leave it.

well, who is the provider? I got my w580i for 25 bucks with a new 2 yr contract. Its supposed to be 50, but my wife works for att. A girl i work with got the 500i thru cincy bell, and cost her about 200 bucks or something. No contract on her end.

Are you buying the phone outright? I dont know what the price difference is, but the phone itself, I would go w580i. Basically same phone, more features.

Well if you want a Radio in your cellphone go for w580i
if you want a good looking phone go for s500 s500 in black color is just beutiful but it dosnt hav a radio

The S500 looks better and fancy. seems more costy.

The W580 looks good, but not as fancy. It features the Walkman feature, where the S500 does not.

So depending if you use music a lot, that would be a good way to pick between the two phones.
If you like using your phone for music, the 580 would be your best pick.
S500 if you dont need as much music from your phone
