Remove operator logo

I have just bought an unlocked Sony Ericsson T250i phone which was previously on a different network to the one that i am on.

Can i remove the old logo?

I've tried to do this before and had some luck with my friend's phone. Look in the manual and you should be able to figure it out.

I've been through the manual and can't find anything to help me do this?
