    Did anybody tried installing one on it?

    Unfortunately, your W580i can only use a proprietary format called M2 Memory Stick Micro.

    W580 only support M2 card according to official spec. And I grabbed one from the office and cannot find any where that can fit in the MicroSD card. So I guess Sony only uses Sony stuff.
