bar phones have no moving parts so they're less likely to break. They used to have longer battery life than flip phones but I don't know if that is still the case. Personally I'll always stick with a bar phone. I find slider and flip phones can be obnoxious in the wrong hands

I prefer the candybar ones - purely for their simplistic and durable design. I do also like slider phones, but as Partysauce said, they have more a of breaking chance due to moving parts.

I like the slider style the most. In second would be the stick/chocolate bar style. Both simple and comfortable.

I prefer the flip style, because it places the microphone closer to the mouth when talking on it......

i prefer candy bar form...it is the most egronomic design so far in my opinion,you just take it out from your pocket & use it right away...no flipping,no sliding...just take & use..

I prefer the candy bar style, no mechanical moving parts to worry about. They are also usually smaller than flip phones are with the flip open.

I wanted to vote flip, but there's ONE drawback
if you play streaming, close flip shuts down the operation, then I prefer slider
keys are hidden and "external" buttons are locked when retracted, unlocked when extended
