    Hey y'all!

I've been looking into getting a new cell phone. Since I use an Apple MacBook Pro notebook computer, I'd like one that can use iSync to sync to the MBP. My favorite style of phone is the flip-type.
Could y'all please vote on your favorite style of Sony Ericsson phone and why?

    Thanks very much!

I like the sliders, for the simple fact that not many ppl have them. I dont really get into cell phone coolness. But, it was a 580 or a razr. My mother and father in law have razrs. How cool is that?

    ps. Macs suck!

Keeping it in the family, sotospeak, huh? About a year ago, my older brother gave us a Nokia Tracfone 1112, which is one of those candy bar/stick types. It's nice, but it's as cheap as you can get. I can see him going through Wal-Mart and seeing these on a rotating display and just decided to get it. I'm not sure what cell phones he and his family use, but his is a flip type.

    Thanks for your input!

Candy bar style so you can just look at it without having to swivel or flip it open.
Doesn't make the screen light up, dark, light up, dark and doesn't need to keep on pushing it open/flipping it open.

I personally prefer flip phones... I like to keep my screen protected and it helps prevent you (or your phone) from making random phone calls!! Yes I know you can lock your keypad on bar phones... but honestly, I couldn't be bothered. When my phone is shut, I know I can't accidentally call someone. I have the W750i which has the walkman control buttons on the outside and the external screen displays the song title, artist, track time, etc.. I got it for Christmas and I absolutely love it! I used to have a RAZR but now that I've made the switch to SE, I don't ever see myself going back... plus I don't think I could ever give up the walkman feature!! I hope your survey helps you pick a phone you'll like. When you've decided on one, why not check with the store and see if you'll be able to bring it back if you don't like it. Some places have a 30 day return policy. Good luck!

    Slider.

You can view and do many thing like the candy bar phone. And it has cool opening mechanism when compring to the dull candy bar type. And most importantly, the design of it can be a lot nicer (e.g. W580 and W910) than candy bars.

I like touch screen ones. I just love the feeling of having alot of space and I like all the games and apps for Symbian.

I've got the K850i and not too keen on the touch screen buttons. The minute the phone comes anywhere near any moisture (including rain!), the buttons have a mind of their own

I definitely prefer the slidephones. They are less bulky than the "normal" ones, and there are less buttons (no number buttons) getting pushed when it's in my pocket!
