I have a Z500 which I purchased a new housing for, to fix up as a spare and for my kids' use. However, when I removed the old parts, there is a "u" shaped chip type thing, about 1/2" long by 1/4" wide that I don't know where it came from. I am usually really adept at these things-watching really carefully how things go when I take them apart, but this piece must have popped out when I removed one of the hinge pieces, and I have no idea where it goes. Does anyone know where I can find a diagram of this phone, or would know where this part goes?
I have spent a bit of time looking online to no avail. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Re: Ericsson Z500 repair question
Does the phone still work lol? So long as it does, I can't see it would have too much harm - maybe just a form of the housing that snapped off? :S

Re: Ericsson Z500 repair question
I didn't want to put it together and find out it didn't work, but...I found out where it went. It was the contact under the sim card. Put it all back together and it looks like a brand new phone--works great too!
Took a bit of googling, but found a developer's diagram, which didn't show much, but did show the sim chip area.
Thanks anyhow for the response!
